Who qualifies?

You could qualify for a CitiFinancial personal loan if you:

  • Are a resident of Canada (excluding Nunavut)
  • Have an established credit history
  • Have reached the age of majority in your province
  • Are able to make monthly payments towards your loan
  • Have been discharged from bankruptcy for 7+ years (if applicable)
  • Intend to use the loan for personal purposes
To qualify for a personal loan for homeowners or a mortgage loan you must also be the owner of the property securing the loan and the property must be your primary home. Once you apply for a loan, your Lending Specialist will review your credit application and work with you to find the loan that’s right for your needs and budget.
